Horror as Boko Haram Kills Nine in Maiduguri

Suspected members of the dreaded militant Islamic sect, Boko Haram, on Wednesday stormed the Borno highway, killing nine passengers and forcing motorists to flee back to their take-off points.
The Borno highways have become slaughter fields for the violent sect in recent times as scores of passengers have been ambushed and killed in renewed attacks.
It was gathered on Wednesday that many motorists had to make a U-turn when the sect invaded the now notorious Maiduguri- Damboa- Biu road.
Some of those compelled to return to their take-off points, told journalists in Maiduguri that nine passengers were seen on the highway with their throats slit open.
Accordig to them, the insurgents attacked a passenger bus and a gulf car close to Bulabulin Ngaura village of Damboa Local Government area.
It was learnt that some supporters of the All Progressives Congress, who were on their way back to Biu after a day’s out on political engagement in Maiduguri were forced to return to Maiduguri following the attack.
The horrible attacks made some passengers make frantic "U turns" in fear.
